Getting started

To begin using KithPlan:

1. Sign in to iCloud on your iPhone.
2. Open KithPlan and choose Create a Calendar.
3. Enter your display name and a calendar name.
4. Add events from Today, Calendar, or Agenda.
5. To create another calendar, open Settings, choose Calendars, and then choose Add Calendar.

Sharing a calendar

Open Settings, choose Calendars, select the calendar, and choose Members & Permissions. KithPlan Premium is required for an owner to start sharing a calendar. Joining a shared calendar does not require Premium.

Only the calendar owner can invite people, change permissions, or remove members. An Editor can update calendar events. A Read-only member can view events but cannot change them.

If an owner's Premium subscription ends, KithPlan does not delete the shared calendar or remove its members. Existing sharing and role-permitted access continue. The owner can still remove existing members or change their access for privacy and safety. Starting another share or inviting a new participant requires Premium.

An invitation recipient needs KithPlan on a supported iPhone and an iCloud account that supports CloudKit sharing. Delivery and synchronization can take time when a device is offline or Apple services delay a change. Open Settings, choose iCloud Sync, and choose Sync Now if a recent change has not appeared.

Exporting, importing, and handing off a calendar

Open Settings and choose Export & Import to create or import a .kithplan archive. Treat exported files as private because they can contain calendar and event details.

KithPlan does not transfer ownership of an existing shared calendar in place. For a handoff, the current owner exports the calendar, the new owner imports it as a new independent calendar, and a new owner with Premium shares that imported calendar with the desired members. Confirm access before deleting the original calendar.

Reminders, widgets, Siri, and privacy

Reminder controls are under Settings and Reminders. If reminders do not appear, check Notifications for KithPlan in the iPhone Settings app.

Widget, Siri, Shortcuts, notification-detail, and App Lock controls are under Settings and Privacy & App Lock in KithPlan. App Lock protects entry to KithPlan but cannot change content that iOS has already displayed in an allowed notification, widget, Siri result, or Shortcut result.

KithPlan Premium subscriptions

Open Settings and choose Premium to compare Free and Premium, purchase a monthly or annual subscription, restore a purchase, or open Apple's subscription-management page. The annual introductory trial appears only when Apple reports that the Apple Account is eligible; the monthly plan has no trial.

Purchase and restore results update KithPlan without requiring an app restart. Billing, cancellation, refund, and Apple Account questions should be directed to Apple Support.

Deleting data

Events moved to Recently Deleted remain there for the retention period selected by the calendar owner unless an authorized user restores or permanently deletes them.

Deleting a calendar as its owner permanently removes that calendar and its events and ends access for its members. Leaving a shared calendar removes it from the participant's KithPlan data while the owner and other members keep access.

Because KithPlan does not operate its own calendar-account server, iCloud account and CloudKit service questions should also be directed to Apple Support.
